I was noticing that the new Lexus HS hybrid has a leather wrapped shift nob that would probably work very nicely on the prius. Also, it has a much nicer antenna. What do you think?
Looks like a shark fin to me, or to be more accurate, a Dolphin fin as sharks fins are triangular, not blade shaped.
Dolphin fin. Shark fin. They're all the same thing, just a painted cover with an antenna underneath it. The HS cover looks like a dolphin fin, the same look as the Audi cars. The shark fin, which you can get for the Prius, is similar to the BMW cars. IMO, the shark fin flows better with the Prius body lines. FYI, the base on the 2010 Prius antenna is pretty big so you need a wide open area 'fin' to cover it up. The dolphin fin won't clear the antenna base unless you get a huge dolphin fin on the roof. That's why you see the shark fin used on the GenIII Prius cars.
