Blinking indicator light

    Hi ALL,
    On my 2007 (#1pkg) Prius, the Hybrid vehicle immobilizer/theft
    deterrent system indicator light blinks any and all the time the power
    is turned off. The manual is not clear, but it seems like the light should
    not be blinking all night when the vehicle is parked!! Anyone else notice
    this on their 2007???????????????

    I believe this is normal. Every car I've had in the last few years did this. It is a deterrent for potential thieves.

    I have a 2006 and the light is supposed to blink when the car is turned off. I was worried the first day I got it, I thought something was wrong with the car as well! :)

    think of it as a worded flashin led like on the non oem alarms.
