The other day I came home near sundown, and noticed the sun glinting off the Multi-Information Display. It made the MID look like a curtain of tiny dots woven together. So it made me wonder What Exactly is the MID Made Of? Also, when it's in the 5-minute milage mode, how many rows of pixels or whatever they are fit between each of the 25 mpg lines? That will allow us to figure the smallest MPG difference the display can show. Thanks, from a guy whose constantly asking newbie questions.
I know it's a vacuum fluorescent display... The MID, not the projected image of the speedometer, etc. [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vacuum_fluorescent_display]Vacuum fluorescent display - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]
I've noticed that the supposed red coloration on my Vacuum Display is just barely pinkish...I didn't even know it was supposed to show up as red till I read about it here and in the Manual. Is this normal with everyone else?
