Exactly what I have been telling my boss. There is no way to test a big software system with 3M lines of C++ codes and expect a bug-free system. BTW, my Mazda CX9 has the brake override, and the start button stops the engine either with 3-sec push or push it three times consecutively. Neither was implemented by Toyota. Sad.
