Poll - What 2010 Prius Do You Have?

The dealer can change the backup to a single beep for you. Some charge for this, others don't. You can find a list of other customizable features in the owners manual - most of which need to be changed by the dealer. There are some features, back-up beep included, that can be changed by the owner if you invest in a ScanGauge II and find the right threads on PriusChat to get the codes.

 

I waited 4 months for my pkg IV with sunroof, blizzard pearl. Light grey interior, Raleigh, NC. I received $500 off MSRP and free pinstrip with lifetime powertrain warranty when I ordered but no one knew it would take 4 months due to limited number of sunroof packages being built/delivered to dealers.

Good dealers will set the customizable features including the seatbelt and backup beepers free for new car customers. Some of the sleazy dealerships want to charge an hours labor to do what is esentially a 5 minute job.

I was waiting on the II then changed my mind and took the showroom model. I wanted a darker color(blue or black). Glad I took the III.

 

Said goodbye to a dear friend, this week, our 05 Package V Silver Metallic. Had 78,000 + very enjoyable (and economical miles). We purchased new in April 05 with the intent of keeping until the hybrid warranty was over. But when I noticed the trade in values not depreciating like other cars, decided to trade after 5 years. Our new Prius is a 2010 IV Blue Ribbon Metalic with Solar Roof Package, grey leather interior. Still getting used to the new bells and whistles and displays. This forum was a great educator for learning about my 05, I can only assume it will also be for my 2010.

 

Leasing a 2010 Prius V with ATP. Toyota increased the residual and is offering a decent rate. New car smell in the garage :rockon:.

 

Got the 2010 Prius III w/ NAV, Blizzard Pearl/Misty Gray, (floor/cargo mats) on November 7 '09 in San Diego. 1st Dealer didn't want to give me much to trade in my f150. Second dealer was much more reasonable. I went from a 13 mile door to door work commute to a 130 mile commute and the truck was going to break the bank. Looked at the other hybrids but with the Toyota quality rep, similar pricing and that 51mpg it wasn't much of a choice and I LOVE it!

 

Package III, Blizzard Pearl, Bisque interior, floor mats.

Took delivery in KC, MO just yesterday - 1/30. Ended up getting about $1400 off MSRP.

Didn't get as much for my trade as I wanted - 2003 Saturn VUE AWD v6 (18 MPG) but it all worked out in the end!

added: back-up sensors (used to them on my old car), and alarm (sometimes I park in sketchy neighborhoods).

Just drove it last night for the first time. It's still at the dealer as they are installing back-up sensors and the alarm.

Traded in my 2006 Mini Cooper S.

Bought from Jon Porterfield at Champion Toyota in Austin, He heads up internet sales. I wanted the dark gray interior and they had one at their Houston dealership that they got up to me. I am very happy with the price and the experience I had with them.

As of Feb 18 2010 I am the proud owner of a new Prius V with ATP Sandy Beach.
So far i am completely in love with this car. Average MPG 51.9!

dark grey fabric interior, dealer added heated seats (very nice---best of both worlds, for those of us who don't like hot seats in the summer)

Looking at the price Jay in Northern Virginia paid makes me wistful...I bought mine 5 days before the ruckus started, so there were no price negotiations. But in Connecticut, no sales tax for hybrids, and free parking in New Haven for residents who register their hybrid and get a window sticker from the city.

I was quoted one price, but when the business manager called, the price was almost $1800 higher. When I questioned this, she had folded in an extended warranty, and a charge for etching the VIN number on all of the windows. I reminded her that I had declined those, and then was given the original quote.

When I got my car, I noticed that it in fact, already had the numbers etched on the windows...

 

Classic Silver III with Solar + Nav. We also had leather + heated seats put in as part of the dealership deal. Currently getting 46.2 mpg, but I attribute that to my wife's driving . She drives a long commute to work 3 days a week, whereas I only get it 2 days for work.

 

I bought the IV in Classic Silver with the dark leather seats and the navigation package.

The dealer, Toyota of Tacoma, had about a dozen cars. No Vs with the ATP. It seemed like my choices were leather and nav but no solar roof or no leather and nav but solar roof. In the end, I went with leather and nav and no solar roof. I've had moon roofs on three previous cars, I like the extra light but rarely open the roof for more than a few minutes. On the other hand, I enjoy the leather seats every day and use the nav and phone and audio every day. That just seemed a better fit for me.

I got some great incentives from the dealer and drove off with the Prius that day.

 

Just got my 2010 Prius IV with solar roof package in Blizzard Pearl and Bisque interior two days ago. Loving it. Good deal.
