I found a set a 4 on the Prius 2010 from the Prius chat Store.
They fit well but I learned through the process that it was a marketing reason hogwash that incited Toyota not to put mud guards on the Prius 2010. There was absolutly no technical reason according to Toyota Canada. Now we all have to write them and beg fro Mud flaps to be standard as they were on Prius 2008 and 2009.

If everyone shout at them they will put them on as standars as before.

Thanks to Prius Chat Store my problem is solved because here in Sherbrooke QC the city of 200,000 uses gravel rocks instead of salt to be ecofriendly in the winter.

One thing: it looks like some drilling is required to install the mudflaps. It would be better if there was some sort of nylon/plastic grommets in place, suitable for self-tap screws.

Kinda related: what about the plastic wheel covers over aluminum alloy rims? Are they prone to trapping grit and salt?

The"drilling" needed could be done with an ice pick. Not a big deal.

Well, my concern is drilling a fresh hole into the sheet metal. A factory punched hole (prior to painting) filtted with a plastic grommet designed for self-tapping screws will not start rusting.

As it stands, your best bet would be to determine optimum location, find some aftermarket grommets designed for taking self-tapping screws, drill to suit the grommets, prime and touch-up paint, and so on. But that's a fair bit more run around, due to Toyota's decision.

Also, if you remove the mudflaps, and periodic removal for cleanout is a necessity wherever salt and sand are used, those direct drilled holes will get loose and even rustier.

The two installations that I have done did not require drilling into sheet metal. Just the heavy plastic wheel well liners.

Like Joe said it could be done with an ice pick. No chance of rust.
