The guys at E-comodder did a demo video on P & G technique featuring the shuttlecraft Zhang Heng, and . . . me! Nice job, guys!
Willie: the guys from "E-comodder" enjoyed making this with you, and hanging out that weekend at the Green Grand Prix. (Are you going again this year? It's on Sat., May 8th.) Too bad the battery died in the camera before we got the planned closing shots, but you still got the points about pulse & glide across nicely. A painless interview subject! Thanks. Darin
Thanks Doc! That's a pretty neat and tidy explanation and demonstration. Makes it easier for those of us who may be a bit... technologically challenged!
Damn, I thought this video was about something else. KIDDING! Thanks for the tutorial. Many will find it useful.
Sorry to go off topic, but I just can't resist pointing out that at the rate Octavia changes her picture, we'll be able to put out a calendar soon! Maybe we can give the proceeds to some environmental group...
Thank you! I have been struggling with poor MPG, no matter what I do. I never really understood P&G, etc,etc.......I learn much better being shown things. I've been wishing for a Prius Club around Western NY or Central Florida (my two homes) to learn more........this was great!! I'd love to spend an hour with someone knowledgeable to learn all this stuf, but this is totally the next best thing!! I eagerly await more!!! Frank D.
Good job. Wish it came out three years sooner. I used to always push to get yellow arrows in the glide/coast portion to maintain speed. Depleting the battery of course.
