2010 need seat carpet and removal help

    just ordered 56sq.ft. of sound mat going to do floor doors etc. do I need to disconnect batt.? for seat removal or just unplug conections If so will I lose all my radio /door lock settings I'm hoping for a big reduction in road noise. I have A V w/ 17" tires car could be a lot quieter Rear seat clips look tricky don't want to brake clips Help

    A Toyota repair tech would unplug the battery (neg terminal).

    That said, I've removed trim from curtain airbags, and seats with no issue. I think *most* of your noise is coming from doors/roof. I'd concentrate there... Settings are permanent (other than whatever radio you have).

    Rear seat clips pop out with pressure - however, when I did my leather interior, one broke. It cost like $4 to fix.

    This should really be in mods or audio...

    Seems like too much road noise
