Grom Aux In - 2004 - Do you lose CD functionality?

    I am looking to purchase the GROM Aux In adapater for my base non navigation no cd changer 2004 Prius. My question is when you hit the CD button, do you lose functionality of your CD player?

    Basically, does the audio system recognize you having a CD player and also a CD changer (aux in)?

    I have a Grom adapter in my base 07. The Grom unit plugs into the CD changer port on the back of the radio. Your CD player will continue to work AND you get aux in via the Grom unit. This assumes the 2004 radio behaves similarly to the 2007, which I believe it does in this respect.
