ICE technology -- what were they thinking?

    Then you read the details and begin to wonder, what were they thinking! "75:1" compression ratio ... "50:1" power side ... "200 bar" tank pressure.

    Formula 1 racing engines have compression ratios of, what... 15:1?

    if you look at the web site of the engine it hold a little more promise when it explains what there doing a little better... All I can say is hope it works... we need to squeeze every last drop out gasoline while it's still here

    Interesting design.

    They used pretty innovative ways of solving technical problems.

    SWRI is a top notch facility.

    Company management seems pretty experienced.

    Maybe they are onto something.:unsure:

    Seems like a great concept - the advantages of regen braking without the weight of a battery and secondary motor. They might even be able to make it a plug-in by using an external compressor to fill the tank.
