I'm feeling really inept, I can't find the homelink to program it. (Just got a 2010 III with Nav) Not on the mirror as in the owner's manual. Dealer thinks it's part of the Nav system, but I can't find any mention of it in the Nav manual or when I play with all the screens for setup and other things. Did a search of the forums, nothing like this in any of the posts. Thanks.
It is on the mirror or it is not on the car. Are there a row of small buttons on the bottom edge of the mirror? That is Homelink. The dealer is wrong, they usually are.
No, nothing on the mirror. I have looked at and felt every surface, at least 3-5 times. It is just a plain mirror.
The Model III does not have it if I recall correctly. You could opt though, if it's something you really want, to have swapped out. You could swap out your regular mirror for one equipped with Homelink should you like that, and you would get auto dimming as well. There would be several choices including asking Toyota although the cost may be slightly higher... Hope that helps....
Thanks. The dealer mentioned something about it, but said I would have to figure it out at home with our remote, and to be sure it had new batteries because I would have to push them for ~2 min. So that is why I was looking for it. I can live with a remote.
I've heard that Homelink is not available for the version with sun-roof, but I do not understand that that's correct as the once I've seen for Prius is integrated in the ceiling, but you are all talking about the unit being integrated in the mirror, and then there should not be a problem for the model with sun-roof?
