Would anyone happen to know if our Halogen projectors can be swapped out with bi-xenon from other Toyota/Lexus models? I currently have an aftermarket HID kit and not quite happy with re-based HID bulbs. So i'm thinking of replacing the projector assembly with real HID projectors that use real D2S bulbs without doing total retrofit. I've done this swap on another cars that uses Hella H7/HID projectors and it's very easy. Also does anyone knows what model Toyota or Lexus comes with bi-xenon? I think most Lexus are bi-xenon? Once I have some time I'll pull out the headlight and see if I can extract the projector out to take pictures.
I've actually have been thinking about retrofitting my sister's prius as I hate how her car is so common and boring. This is what I was thinking of doing! Also we're both from SF!
