Must be - i'm supposed to pick mine up next week ----i'm hoping we don't get another storm this winter - LOL How are you going to take the snow off ??? Wonder if there's a full cover to buy to keep it shiny and new? The gray looks like a great color and easy to keep clean - I picked the blue but thinking of changing to silver.....
LOL! I know the feeling. My winter gray isn't quite as covered as yours is right now, but give it time and it will be. When you go to clear the snow off, think of it as opening a box of cracker jacks - there's a nice prize inside!
Congrats! Got mine 3 weeks ago and was so nervous about driivng in the bad weather. Did just fine. I grew up in NY so okay with snow, but they don't have snow much here and you can tell the way they drive . . . Will stay in today and stay safe. I've spent hours and hours on this and you still find more stuff. Quite a learning experience. :welcome:
I was just about to post something about snow sticking to the Prius. We just got 12 inches and nothing stuck to our car!!! We were wondering if it was THAT aerodynamic. You answered my question, We just got lucky.
....and this is a day after picking up our Prius too. I thought we ordered Barcelona Red but I guess we got Winter Gray too.
I had my seven-spoke OEM Touring rims 3-step powder coated leaving a thin matte silver trim ring. They closely match Amapola's Barcelona Red ataviada. Here's a better pix: PriusChat Forums - Rokeby's Album A similar, derivative effect could be had by painting the OEM wheel covers... much less costly too.
Yep. I picked up my Winter Grey at the end of July. It seemed to rain 75% of the time since I got it, especially after I'd spent the day before washing and waxing it. However, by yesterday, it was covered in 2 feet of snow instead. Actually it looked pretty nice and shiny once I had cleaned off the snow. But after taking it out to go shopping and being sprayed by SUVs driving through the slush, it looks awful!
What's all that white stuff burying your car? I looked all around down here in Largo, Florida and couldn't find any...
Mine is Blue Grey but the same as yours (8V1 for TOY). See page 5 My Luna. A good choice - LOL - C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S ! ! !
Get the guest bedroom ready, you're going to have two extra guests for Christmas. Bringing my clubs, do you play golf? Somewhat sore after having to use the snowblower three times this weekend (with shoveling where necessary).
I have a cousin who lives on the Dutch border in Belgium. He (and all of us) is dutch but lives in Belgium to avoid the higher taxes.
