Steering Wheel Controls?

    If I replace the HU and the JBL amp on my III, will I lose the TRIP/DISP & CLIMITE controls on my steering wheel?

    No - they are on a different CAN bus.

    Thanks

    I called Crutchfield and they said that they would not recommend putting in a high powered amp (anything over 50 w rms) in the Prius. I have a amp that is rated at 125 rms x 4 with two 40 amp fuses.

    Should I be concerned?

    Can you maybe just keep the one thread going? It's easier for people to follow your upgrade ideas that way and it helps to not clutter the forum. I know I am trying to help you as well, as most want to help, but with the same questions over & over it doesn't help to clarify things.

    You will be fine with such an amp.
