I just purchased a 2004 Prius, and want to install my 3g iPhone, but have no nav and no jbl system. I want to be able to use the steering wheel controls, and would like to use the touchscreen on the MFD if possible. I also want to be able to play videos from the iPhone on the factory MFD (keep in mind I have no dvd player and no NAV). Is this possible? Which one would work the best? the coastal ultimate lockpick? DICE? VAIS? something else? Thank you in advance, and GREAT FORUM!
I'm looking to do a similar thing. I have a 2004 Prius with no nav or JBL audio system. I'm looking to connect my new iPhone 3GS to the MSD and steering wheel for both audio and phone. Does anyone know of any options out there. I've been searching, and I haven't found an integration kit for these specifically. Thanks!
I am about to pull the trigger on a 2004 or 2005 Prius (no nav or JBL) and would love to know if I can tie my iPhone into it. I currently use an AXIPGMLAN adapter in my Saab 9-3 so I am hip to the concept of using a 3rd-party adapter; I just want to get the one with the best functionality for the iPhone.
oh i installed a holder from proclip.it installs in the same area. made for the prius. solid as a rock. also i like magellan map best. you must control from iphone,if anyone knows of a workaround let me know
