Dumb Q: Do Prius'es ger firmware updates?

    Considering that this is a computer with an attached car :) , does the car itself require periodic "firmware" updates (at the dealer) to tweak its operations?

    If so, how can I find out if my car has the latest version?

    Do we find out here if/when an update is released?

    On occasion there are firmware updates for some of the ECUs. Your dealer will take care of it during normal service.

    If an interesting one comes along it will be posted on this site.

    have you tried turning on windows update. lol. just kidding you would think they would post firmware updates as advancements are made
