    Is it advisable to fit mudflaps to a new Prius? Do they result in deterioration in gas consumption?

    No they don't, at least not a measureable reduction.

    I would like to get as much deterioration of Gas Consumption as possible. I hope to get a Plug in Prius to maximize deterioration of Gas Consumption.
