Well, I have joined the fold. After an excruciating 3 month wait, I picked up my new prius a couple of hours ago. I got package #4 in Tideland Pearl. This was the first time I ever sat in one, since they didn't even have any to test drive. I couldn't be happier. It had 3 miles on it. I averaged exactly 40.0 mpg on the 12 mile ride home (though it didn't get there until the last half mile. The Toyota dealer even kindly bought out my current lease, saving me the last months payment, the disposition fee, and about $850 in taxes on the new car (all tolled about $1500) - all completely unexpected. Welcome!!!! Sounds like a great deal you got...did you get it at Faulkner Toyota in Trevose? I had considered getting one from there, and their internet sales manager was very helpful...I found one closer to home though when all was said and done....again, congrats. Dave.

Jopa..Congradulations and enjoy this car., you will and not only that it will be less expensive to run and maintain. This chat board has great technical expertise, and loads of information on optional stuff and stuff to help you mileage and performance. The site has unique places where you can get custom covers, shades and shields, mods for performance and mods for looks. It is pricey sometimes and sometimes cheaper. It is great to see new owners just buying away the best value for the dollar, or just to have a car good for the world and this country too. Good luck and enjoy the car and this site
