There's a TON of highway construction going on up here in Northern California...makes the daily c
ommute a mess and people follow WAY to close to the car in front of them, typically causing them to hit their brakes HARD and sway into the emergency lane... ;)

BE SAFE! I hate seeing those fender benders alongside the road from people following too close and being preoccupied too much to see the person braking suddenly in front of them (been there and done that)...I'd hate it even more seeing one of the vehicles being a Prius!

As for me, I drove it to work today, cleaned the windows/glass and played a lot more with the Audio system. Oh, I also took a picture of it on my break from class and put a photo up on the Photos page.

Loaded up the CD changer with: an audio CD I burned, a CD with MP3 files I burned, and a commercial CD (Renaissance/King Biscuit Flower Hour) to test the CD player.
    (it worked :thumb:)

Parked nose to gutter at the supermarket and got to close.

That sound of the front scraping back off the kerb is heart wrenching.

No visible damage unless I crawl under the car.

Anybody managed to rip the panel of completely?

That's probably the most creative mod I've seen on a Gen 3!

Nope but I have put a decent size dent on the plastic cover as I approached the bottom of the ramp to the underground parking.

We've had the materials for awhile, but didn't get them put in place until today.

    Happy Holidays to All!

Mine was parked outside last night, as it is most nights. I looked at it to see how much ice was on the windows, not to bad. In a little while I'll drive it over to my friends house to open some packages and share Christmas dinner. :)

Got a gps for Christmas, hooked it up, acquired satellites, drove around for five or 10 minutes, works like a charm. Will check next week to see how well the traffic component works.

Grill blocking, 85% bottom and 45% upper.

Then I installed the donut...:( Apparently when I was at Home Depot picking up the $1.23 pipe foam, I also picked up a 10-cent self-tapping machine screw... But the low-pressure warning light works fine.
