Prius chat should welcome all civil discussion. People should be mature enough to see that there are a variety of viewpoints in this world. However, anyone who stoops to the level of being a liar or name calling should not be allowed here. Unfortunately I have seen examples of that here.
The way I understood it was that people trying to dispell misconceptions are talking to the wrong crowd because nobody will listen to them. I try to make my objective of dispelling misconceptions as public as possible and his comment seemed directed to people with that same goal.
I don't think so. I haven't seen all of your posts, but in general I find they have useful information and/or a different perspective without a hostile tone. I think there's evidence that you're willing to share knowledge and listen to another point of view. Just so you know, some of us appreciate your contributions.
In no way was my comment directed at any one particular person. If someone comes up and asks me about the CNW survey or Sudbury, I'll tell them what I think. I'm not gonna keep quiet just because I think they're not the type. It's only if they keep beating the dead horse would I just not bother and not waste my time when there's someone else out there who has a legit and serious question.
Naw, you're ok. Just too skinny. Try to eat more, I feel distinctly uncomfortable around skinny people - makes me feel chubby
I'm a huge fan of our smilies, and how often can you actually use that one? PRICELESS! I like the whip (uh oh, might have gone over the line with that...).
My 2 cents. I've been a member for 4 years and have NOT enjoyed the demise of PriusChat as "the" source for helpful Prius information and support. I find the endless grinding about off topic subjects annoying and the quantity of misleadingly labeled new treads a waste of everyone's time. I'm sorry, topics like "2010 Prius Sunroof Installed" is not an accurate description for someone looking for information about a sunroof installation. End.
