Hi All - I am new here, have been lurking for a few weeks since I became the proud owner of a 2010 Prius IV with Navi/Technology package. Last night, on my first trip out of town, all of a sudden my XM radio stopped playing. No channels work - just says SEARCHING and nothing happens. I called XM as I already added it to my existing XM account that has our other car (Acura TL-S) and the account is working fine. They tried the refresh - I made sure car was in WIDE OPEN sky view, antenna looks fine, yet nothing. Other audio features work find (FM, Bluetooth MP3, etc.) and my Navi works fine. Any thoughts? Perhaps something happened with the car itself with the XM wire/input? Anyone else had this issue? Thanks for any advise or help you can provide. I look forward to chatting with you all on a regular basis now that I bought the car I have always wanted...
I had an episode where I had been listening to other items (iPod and regular radio) for a couple days and when I went to SAT while in transit I could not get anything. I remember someone having a similar problem and saying that it needed to reset sometimes. I ended that trip but made sure the tuner was set to SAT for when I restarted the car and it came back on.
Yeah thanks, I tried all of that. Had it on channel 1 after we did the refresh with XM, left it there for 20 minutes, no luck... Then drove around a bit last night while shopping, kept checking on XM and nothing happens. Looks like my first service visit might be in store already....
