I unplugged a connector behind the glove box while the ignition was on, the car wasn't running, just turned it on to listen to the radio while I cleaned the pollen filter. Anyway when I plugged it back in the master alarm went on. How do I reset this? The car has plenty of fuel and there are no problems with it, just lost sensor inputs while I had it unplugged. Thanks, Aaron
Master alarm? If you set a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code), you'd have to have a dealer clear it. However, the warning lights will turn off after a certain number of troublefree trips.
I unplugged my 12V battery for 45 minutes, that seem to fix it. I don't really care if it's a stored code, I just didn't want to have the dash lit up with warnings, and have a red car icon on the MFD all the time.
"Canceling the mater alarm." Sounds like something you would do on an Apollo mission. Here is my question. The cabin air filter is in a pretty good location, not great, but I've seen worse. How come you had to remove a wire to get access to it?
