    Hi All,

As someone who's interested in a more sport-oriented 2010 Prius, I'll be the first to post what's available. So far, I've found TRD springs and struts, which firm up and lower the car by 10mm. Feel free to add more links and reviews (of chassis or suspension components) as more parts are released to market. Thanks!

Man I wish I had extra cash to do the drop... Maybe I can claim my gas savings of $120/month to justify the drop after 1 year!

Tanabe USA website is now listing two springs DF210 & NF210 (with part #'s and rate of drop) for the Gen III Prius.

They couldn't confirm delivery for December shipment from Japan as they did not see parts listing for next inbound container.

I'm hoping for a January delivery!:)

tanabe said 2-3rd wk of january for the springs. i have mine on order so mine will be on one of the first shipments. my distributer spoke with tanabe and about 60% of the springs being sent out are already accounted for, the springs are going fast so thats why i paid for them already so im guaranteed the springs this january :). to anyone whos interested in the springs, go to your local distributer and just leave a deposit and preorder them.

I love my tababe nf210s. They really are very comfortable springs and their description acurately makes the 2010's height look "elegant". 2 months in and I don't even notice the change in ride quality. I'm mounting my 18" wheels today so I'll post pics later today

Do they help tame the rolling nature of the prius in fast turns? That's the main reason I would do the suspension upgrade. How much did it cost to get them installed? An "elegant" inch drop is the most I want to do.

Definitely post pictures. I'd like to see how it looks lowered on 18s.

That's great... especially people just looking for "normal" ride. Make their prius look for subtle yet not too obnoxious on the road... I'll be waiting for their release

I have Tein Htechs on their way. Hopefully they'll come this coming week and I'll have them installed this weekend. I'll post pics up after the install.

I swapped out the NF210s for Tanabe coil-overs, set them to the same ride height as the nf's...except the coilovers have shocks/struts for a more complete suspension setup as opposed to stock shocks with the nf's

I took off the 18"s about a week after mounting em. The wheels alone weighed 25 lbs a piece and the acceleration drag and increased stopping distance weren't worth the handling improvements.

I'm mounting 16" SSR TYPE F wheels next month with high performance tires (11.5 lbs per wheel)

Also, yes the suspension and wheel upgrade definitely cuts the body roll while cornering

Except everyone still runs on the crappy low resistance rolling tires

For those of y'all replacing springs, have you looked into shock/strut replacements? I've been searching, not actively, and haven't quite come across any replacement for those... other than the TRD ones.

Deltron - I still haven't installed the NF springs I bought off you. Still waiting for some time and $ to come around. Haha.
