Hi all - new Prius owner in the UK. Decided to list all the voice commands to make a quick reference card for myself. Here they are - don't know if it differs in the US Here's a list of the commands for reference. Italics are not commands just groupings. There are also some generic ones like "Go back" and "Cancel" but those aren't listed in the command list <Press Voice Button> Go Home Destination Telephone Command List <Say "Telephone"> Dial by number Dial by name Redial Call history <Say "Command List"> Change map screen Map Dual map Single map Compass mode Change map mode 2D 2D single 2D dual 3D 3D single 3D dual Change right map mode Right map 2D Right map 3D Change map scale Zoom in Zoom out Right map zoom in Right map zoom out Change map direction North up Heading up Map direction Change right map Right map north up Right map heading up Right map direction Change guidance mode Arrow guidance Turn list guidance Motorway guidance Intersection guidance Set a destination Previous start point Save point on the map Save current position Change route Quick 1 Quick 2 Short route Detour Detour whole route Review route Route overview Next destination map First destination map Second destination map Third destination map Fourth destination map Fifth destination map Final destination map Delete destination Delete next destination Delete final destination Delete all destinations Guidance options Suspend guidance Resume guidance Repeat guidance Louder Softer Show POI icons All restaurants Fast food Japanese restaurant Chinese restaurant French restaurant Italian restaurant Other restaurants Shopping Petrol station Parking Car rental Lexus Hotel Golf course Ski Resort Amusement park Cinema Bowling Casino Ice skating Sports Centre Tourist attraction Winery Music club Town hall Hospital Park / recreation Community centre Exhibition centre Train station Airport Border crossing Bus station Ferry port Park and ride Motorway service Tourist information Historical monument Theatre Museum School Town centre Toyota Guest house Marina Motorcycle dealership ATM University Police station Bank Grocery store Library Court house Bookstore County council Embassy Pharmacy Post Office Vehicle Repair shop User Cars Delete POI icons Hide all icons Select audio mode Radio AM FM MW CD CD Changer Hard disc drive Audio On/Off Audio Hope this helps - cheers
Note that some commands can be done at the initial voice prompt such as FM or CD or changing the map modes. You don't need to go to their respective subgroup before saying the command. However, dialing via bluetooth does require going into the "Phone" subgroup first (at least I haven't had success saying "Dial By Name" without going into "Phone" first)
Is the voice command for setting the cabin temperature gone on the Gen III? In my 2006 I could say "72 degrees" and the temp was set.

Funny, eh! Is there a way to give a voice command to set the NAV destination to one of the address book entries? I can do it from the screen but have not been able to do it from voice command... Thanks.
Yes, I have indicated the Tech Package in my signature but when I tried to set the options for the vehicle data on the left panel, it only gives options for the US version, so I used the closest thing I could find... Is there a way to override that?
It shouldn't. The I-Tech is Australian, not American. The list in the "Package" drop-down box is quite extensive. You should be able to find it. IIRC, the first few are the 2010 US packages, followed by the 2010 Canadian packages. The I-Tech is near the bottom of that list!
Do (a portion of) the voice commands come also on a Prius with only BT connectivity? I have not found a list of voice commands in my user manual - it seems I have to do everything by hand, more or less.... or use the 1 to 6 buttons to speed-dial a number - maybe there is a different set up for Prius sold in Germany?
The commands work with factory Toyota navigation only. If you just have BT, the "Voice" button is used to dial and configure the BT only.
Just discovered another 2 quite by accident. While playing music on the HDD: Track Up Track Down Both work straight from the master menu. I suppose it'll be the same on the CD. It's still a lot quicker with the steering wheel controls! I'll have to experiment with some other audio commands - eg 'Station Up' and 'Down' - 'Fast Forward' etc.
Radio will use Seek Up and Seek Down http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...st-commands-voice-recognition.html#post945975
