Ok, maybe under fluorescent lights at least.... I didn't notice it before, but the blizzard pearl color at night is very good looking. It has a soft translucent glow to it, and especially when viewed from up close. I kept glancing back at the car after parking it under the lights
no way...i now get the "pearl" reference, because it really seems like it's translucent. i'm going to take some pics of it under night lights, see whether i can capture the color....
I get as many positive comments on the BP color at night under moonlight as I do in the day. Cloudy days tend to bring it out too.
Yeah, it's an absolutely beautiful color... And the extra money for it is 'cheap' compared to other companies premium charge for pearl paint. I've had many people tell me how great the car looks in the 'new white' compared to the old plain white.
We were thinking of getting winter gray at first, but ended up getting blizzard pearl because i liked the strong contrast between the black solar roof and the whitish exterior. others probably do too, since this combination seems to be in all the toyota ads.
Blizzard Pearl was the *only* color I wanted. My last car was a white SAAB 900 SE and it always looked stylish. The shimmering quality of the paint does look beautiful at night. This past weekend, R2Pre2 was parked under an oak tree by an outdoor fireplace. Several people sitting around the fireplace commented that the car was "glowing." Nice!
Is it me or Blizzard Pearl not really white but more of a silverish cream. Anyways its a unique color and very brilliant. I'm wondering will this be hard to keep clean? My BP is already gaining dust lol
it's definitely not a simple white...it is pearly or creamy white......with some kind of sparkling....
At first, the 2 colors I didn't want in a Prius were silver and blizzard pearl, but after looking at the pics, if the dealer has a blizzard pearl in the model I want, I'm grabbing it!
