I have always fixed my own cars. Fixing my 2006 brought me to this group.
Listening to the contributors of this group, I have become interested in current OBDII hardware and software that seem to fail intermittently regardless of manufacture. That kind of failure suggests a fundamental design flaw.
The flaw is likely to be due to timing, hinting that data is not being properly buffered between the CAN bus and the laptops or phones that we use. I would appreciate anyone with insight into this intermittent problem sharing their views with me so we can gradually put something together to benefit all.Interact
