About
New Prius owner as of 13 July 2015. I did a lot of research before taking the plunge on my 2008. I've been very happy since day one. As of 1 Aug, I've only stopped once at the gas station. Mine was a one owner with records of all fluid changes and mechanical work performed at the Toyota dealer. Only one sad note, with the new tires that are on the car, the 2nd week I got a flat from road debris. One the bright side, I've learned how to change a flat on my Prius, just a bit sooner than I really would have liked!
I now have a 2014 Prius v, model 3. I made a road trip of ~500 miles and averaged 49 mpg - much above the EPA rated 44 hwy / 42 combined. There are features on both of my Prius that I love. The 2014 has leather and heated seats which are nice on a cold day. It also seems just a bit wider than my 2008. I'm not that excited with the navigation system as it is not current. Other than that, I love the 2014 - more room without sacrificing that much less mpg!Interact
