how in the world... do I create a post on this website? I just joined and I find it ridiculous there isn't a quick easy link to create a new post................

    what am I missing here.....?

Oh well, anyways if anyone ever stumbles across this page Ill just post my concerns about my Prius here.... and maybe someone will come along, see this, and be like "hey!"

I have a 2006 Toyota Prius. I got this car used at around 20,000 miles a few years ago. Since then my check engine light has consistently been on... took it to a mechanic and they said it was my water valve pump that needed to be replaced. So I went to a dealership and they replaced the whole thing under warrenty. I drove it around for a week, filled up the gas once, for the week, then just last night my check engine light came back on. Now, I'm leaving to move to Colorado from San Diego on Wednesday June 25th, this is a 15 hour drive. I am about exhausted from trying to figure out what is wrong with my Prius, since no one seems to be knowing what is wrong with it, not even the first mechanic or even the dealership did not mention anything to me, all they said was it was the P1121 code which is common problem with every second generation prius owner. As I read many other forums, people have stated how much a Prius needed on frequent maintenance... and how the check engine light will come on for just about any thing even from the littlest things, so there would be no way of exactly knowing with the main problem is unless you go through the whole thing. As fustrated I am I feel I might just take my risk and drive my car all the way to CO. but jesus, is there anyone on this forum that also feels like the second generation Prius is just horrible. (taking the fact that I am vvery thankful for my car, but it seems there's always problems after problems)
