I have been drowning in teaching and research recently and haven't been spending much time here, so apologies for the tardy reply.

I have no problem talking about stuff (comes with the territory as a college prof), but am not sure I am qualified like many of the types on this site.

I don't use a Scangauge, and have been getting low 50s winter - high 60s summer MPG on my 2009 Prius (45k - I drive a lot).

If you could be more specific about what I might tell you, I'd be happy to try. Mainly I keep an OCD patients dream record of my Prius mileage and the number of Prii, Insights and Fortwos that I see on the road- but that sort of thing seems to be very common here at PC.

Anyway - I'm happy to chat.....after the grant deadline I have this week anyway!

I am as low-tech as they come - I think I have heard of Skype somewhere, but thats about it.
