It’s not your fault really , but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90of us that enjoy rreadinng the content .

Yes I think it does protect the door. That is why I got it, not for the looks. If I had to do it again, I would get the type that is slightly wider, and a constant width, even though it doesn't look as good - it may protect better. I also have the door edge guard, for the same reason.

I'm thinking about getting some side moulding for my 11 Prius, there are two types, the one shown on your car and the kind that run along the base of the doors My question: Do you feel the side moulding on your car is protection against door dings? I would appreciate your opinion before I shell out the dough thanks, George Potter:)
