always wanted a car that could get 40 mpg .Finally,in jan2013, i got one. my 2008 prius almost does! 38.9 mpg combined.
dead of winter now so maybe mpg go up in summer. I traded in a 2004 celica gts (180 mile per hour the fast & the furious type car) for the 95 hp prius. I had it, celeca gts -up to 179 mpg but didnt want to push it! too old to drive fast any more after my fourth stroke.
I take two different blood pressure meds twice every day now so I dont think i'll be having a 5th stroke.
very glad im no longer paralized on the whole right side,arm & leg.
I retaught myself to stand up, to walk, to talk without slurring,
to button cloth & tie shoelaces, to print and then to write, retaught myself to drive a car, twice. and finally, when my balance came back, retaught myslf to drive my motorcycle
and type on my computer. The fine hand control and balance was the hardest things to do.
now I am back to playing doom3, I could not for almost a year
until my reflexes and fine hand control slowly returned.

handle was redwing because the 2004 gts has a big red rear spoiler.Was a federal firearms dealer,a NRA pistol safety instructor for state pistol permit course, a major appliance repairman,a motorcycle rider, a downhill skier, a water skier, roller skater, roller board & ice skater. now i am 64 & take 2 naps each day and am too tired to have fun or go anywheres much, but I did a lot of things that I though were very cool, from 1970 to 2004. now I watch tv & computer. big si fi movie fan.best times are behind me.
