    Way back when, when Paul Ships had a booklet about electric cars, I tried to convert my little VW Rabbit to run on a bank of NiCd aircraft starter batteries. It didn't get too far.

    Now I am looking at A123 LiFePo cells for bikes and wheelchairs, and the Prius Chat logs have had valuable information. Thanks guys!
