It is looking good! How do you color match the emblems? Also- are you going to keep the wheels?

First step is remove emblems - they are just taped on - get a piece of string and slide it behind the emblem, then do a flossing motion with the ends of the string while pulling outward (to not scratch the car). Next remove all the tape residue from the car and the back of the emblem. Then sand the emblem with some 400 g sandpaper to create a printable surface rather than the vacuum chrome plating on there from the factory. One layer of primer, let dry. One or two coats of paint (the color of your car - you can get factory colors in spray cans from some auto parts stores, they have a book where you look up your color and it tells you which can you need) sand with 1000g sandpaper between coats, allowing the badge to fully dry as well. Lastly one or two coats of a hard enamel clear coat, then after its dry inspect for any places that need additional work, then cut thin strips of double sided mounting tape and stick to the back of the emblem, then stick it back on the car - make sure the area is very clean. Let me know if you have any specific questions. As for the wheels - it would be out of character for me to keep factory wheels factory, but it is one of the last things I will probably do. I have considered stripping the paint and polishing them so that they are just polished aluminum wheels, have also considered painting them black... Are you looking to buy a set?

Maybe down the line I will switch out the wheels. I just like to see what others are putting on their C if they do switch them out. Right now I am waiting on tint. That is my first step. Thanks for the info!!
