Hi Lindy! so glad u left a message! Thx for the compliment! It took me a while to finally upgrade from those ugly stocks I really wanted some aluminums but these black mattes were really the only avalable as far as price/weight/size. I was terrified to see what the effect would be on my gas mileage becaus i travel high miles to work! But after about 2 weeks I can say that I do notice there is a slight difference in gas mileage. The gas marker to refill on the display (you know the one with the little automobile icon next to the gas pump) it decreases a little faster than with the stocks. But besides that i gotta say: -the handling muuuch better! I no longer have to drive cautious at hi speeds, nor feel like the prius is gonna tip over when i get off exits on the expressway ramps. I love turning now LOL! Much safer feel when driving. well worth the additonal 3-4 mpg miles lost. (in my opinion) -the look is very nice, I must admit im impressed on how accents and contours of the car stand out more now. -how was your experience with yours?
Haha, I know what you mean when you say that it sometimes feel like the Prius will tip over at high speeds off of exits. Honestly, I am really diggin' the black on black. Have you done any other mods to your Prius? As far as for me, the wheels came stock with mine, but I have wondered if these wheels are hindering my gas mileage. My car came with the plus package. With my wheels, I average about 42-48 mpg--not too great, in my opinion. I must admit though... in my old car with a V6, I flew on the freeway. Sometimes I went near 100 mph without realizing it. With the Prius, I can feel it when I hit hear 70 mph, and I never, ever go over 80. What a difference! I also never thought I'd utilized cruise control as much as I do now. You say you commute far; how long is your commute usually?
