2005 Pruis saving the customer some money?. 98% do not know what superheat is let alone what the suction line return temp should be on a electric compressor. what makes it even worse is that the manufacture dose not even release such specifications, they do not place the service ports in the correct location for testing and they should add a few more for better diagnostics but if they do, and even if they did, the 98% would not know what to do with them. When you look at this photo on my gauge set the numbers next to the T1 63F , if the manufacture did release SPECs and there was truly at least some training , schooling or on hands real world testing and certification required for the automotive industry witch there is not. The Better Business Bureau or Bureau of Automotive Repair are almost worthless entities, they come in after something goes wrong. Im not crazy about bigger government, more rules and laws, but when it comes to the general public consumer getting poor repairs or even ripped off, lied to, scammed, or lack of experience. I myself have to step in far too often when family and friends get ripped off, lied to, or just lack of experience or education plays a roll in a bad repair be it body shop or repair shop.
