      Can water and dirt and road salt get trapped behind the moldings and rot the door bottoms out ? They look nice now, but that would be my concern. The mud flaps look great, I'll have to get me a set.

      The construction and placement of the double sided adhesive tape takes care of that. It would be the same that attachment tape that is on the body side moldings. Each piece is covered with 360 of tape. No water or anything will get behind . They fit flush to the surface. I should have taken some pics of them before installation. SRI. It is a Genuine Toyota Factory part (OEM) made with high quality as you would expect.
