6 months worth of work, hydraulic power top, done by Newport Engineering, specialize in reconstruction of classic hardtop cars conversion to convertible. This Prius the only one ever done. Stripped to bare steel, rebuilt by hand, rewired all electrical systems, XM radio components, AM-FM radio, interior and rear seats. Added steel roll bar; additional weight for balance.

This is a totally great vehicle! Tres cool!

Very nice and I bet it still gets reasonable mileage.

Convertible still going strong now with 8000 miles. Babied a bit, but even in todays 90+ degree weather, with lots of sunscreen, I'm driving with the top down.
