... a break in the winter weather, time to venture out, put some temps into my MR2 Supercharged. This image taken, at the old filling station, corner of Pine Canyon and 3-Points. I'd chanced upon a Murcielago earlier, on Bouquet. Stubborn guy, wouldn't get over; I had to pass him high side. An S-bend, that put me inside for the upcoming 2nd gear left apex, stranding him high side. Accelerating out, the Lamborghini guy cut the stripes to take back the place. But, upcoming 2nd gear right apex, he was on the high side. Oncoming traffic, when he had to tuck back in, I cut the stripes just as the oncoming vehicle passed, for a more ideal line. Just then, I felt a "THUNK!" Cutting the stripes, my right-rear kicked up a little stone. Quick glance, checking the rear view mirror before banging down my gearbox, back to my 2nd gear, my inner voice, "...was that spider web cracks I just saw, across the windshield of that Murcielago?" Perhaps he may have been a little upset. Cracked windshield notwithstanding, he tried giving chase. Nobody ever tells those guys in the divorced orthodontist driver's club, they're driveway ornaments; they're not actually supposed to drive them. A 4 thousand pound car versus a 2300 pound car? To no avail, I drew away, disappearing into the forest of esses, ahead. Hard braking, I grabbed second gear, made the left hand turn off Bouquet, bound for Green Valley --
