Just like to share the new DVD player that I have just installed.

    With the following features:
    - Bluetooth
    - Steering wheel controls bulit-in
    - Ipod connections
    - With Toyota logo on it
    - Fits perfectly, its like a factory fitted one.

    Cheers:)

That looks good but why did you describe it as the best aftermarket headunit DVD player? They are all a standard double DIN size and there are better looking units out there that likely also have better sound quality. Is there something special about this one and the way it mounts?

    Thanks for the pics!

I like to keep the steering wheel controls when I upgrade too. Is it a unit from another Toyota? Let us know the details.

What do you recommend for a double DIN unit with GPS, Bluetooth and also compatible with steering wheel controls? Ipod connection would be a plus but not a deal breaker.

    Thanks in advance.

The title said aftermarket head unit. Your dealer sells aftermarket unit? What is the model number? Did they use Scosche TA2103B double DIN kit?

Did you end up using the Scosche 2103B kit?
What size player fits in the double din mount?

Does the setup still preserve the undercompartment radio. It is hard to see from your photos. Do you have a larger photo?

    Thanks,

Hi so sorry for the late reply. Yes I used the Scoshe kit and had to cut the side so that it cover the panel nicely. The size of the player was originally use to fit perfectly for Toyota corolla but the height of the player happens to fit prius as well, just that the sides will require the dash kit to cover it. And yes it preserve the under compartment storage space.

Probably one of many very interesting dvd units such as are available on sites like dhgate.com that are capable of displaying the Toyota logo. I looked extensively to see if I could find it, but I did not. The software on the screen looks similar to Eonon units. Maybe this is an older model that is no longer manufactured, or possibly particular to the Singapore region.
