Sliding the dipstick down I felt it grind against the dipstick tube. Finger wipe of dipstick left fine metal discoloration. I buffed my dipstick. It slides nicely now. Does your oil check create that grind???

Mine feels "tight"; need to do the turn and re-insert sometimes. ;)
Didn't notice anything more than a thin film of oil.

I noticed that the dipstick is different from all other cars I had. The entire lenght is polished and smooth. So the oil cannot stick to it. I tried to read the oil level two times since I got my car ten days ago but never got a clear reading.

Do you have the same problem?

Maybe you should try Castrol Edge synthetic oil
