Ok, I'll start. I hope this thread will be helpful to people buying as they can see the breakdown of what we are paying.
    I ordered mine on 05/09/09
    Prius II
    Color: Blue Ribbon Metallic
    Price Paid $22,000
    Destination $750
Options: Floor mats $0 - (dealer gave them for free)
    Title fee $27
    Administrative/Doc fee $199
Total Out the Door Price $22,976
    Delivery date: Sometime early June

Note: We have no sales tax in NH but license plates and the cost of a title and to put it on the road at the City clerk and DMV will be about $700. But none of this is done at the dealer.
Is there anything I am missing? Hope this helps.

Great idea but in addition let's all also try and use the order tracker to input our vehicles and also once you know what the final price will be add that in as well. It's another easy way to compare what everyone is paying in different areas and dealerships.

I don't see a column for the price paid or quoted price in the order tracker?

So your final cost is 22976 or 22976+700?

I believe Danny will update it for final price once cars start showing up and people know the final price they paid. For now there is just the deposit field, which if your dealer didn't require a deposit put 0. Right now everyone's quoted prices are really just talk until one sits down and does the final paperwork and drives away...

Plus the order tracker combines everyone's info on where, how much, etc into one easy to access field, not a long post with continued chatter between the information people may be looking for.

There is a field for price paid and delivery date when you edit the entry.

Thanks, I just signed my car up in there. I wasn't even aware of the order tracker, very helpful.

Sorry, I thought it was clear. I paid $22,976. The destination fee was already factored in.

What did you pay for your 2010 ?

Going to buy 2010 fully loaded soon and I am told i must pay $3000.00 over sticker which would be about $31,400.00 and that is here in Houston. Trying to see if all dealerships are charging this premium and if that is a fair price ?

Not sure what you consider as "fully loaded", but a Prius V with ATP costs $33,200 MSRP. According to Toyota, that is the top of the line.

Re: What did you pay for your 2010 ?

just purchased one from tejas toyota in humble. my parents went with a pkg ii with floor mats and vehicle shield package...damn GST. they would not budge from sticker. not even $100 off. they had the lowest priced prius in houston with out any other add ons.

you should be able to find a prius for sticker. there is a red pkg iii solar with added leather at champion toyota.

You're being had. No reason to pay anything over MSRP. Just got mine here in NJ for $800 below MSRP.

Re: What did you pay for your 2010 ?

he's buying the IV, which fully loaded is at $31k+

the V is kinda the alter ego of the IV, because it doesn't have the sunroof/solar, but has the ATP.

PS. My bad...he said $3000 over, which makes the MSRP of his $28k, probably the III?

There's no way someone should be paying over sticker now, IMO. In fact, there are deals like mine to be had for under MRSP.

The GST dealers in Little Rock are saying to me they will sell only at MSRP. This is inconsistent with regional sales information on truecar.com and "target price" information on cars.com (but I can't tell if CARS is regional, national or mixed information). (I exclude Landers--I won't deal with them because they WAY overcharged me for service on my 99 Corolla a few years ago.)
The dealers deny knowledge of the MSRP increase scheduled for this coming week--anyone have an idea why? It's already taken into account on cars.com, even though it hasn't taken effect (I can't tell if cars.com has taken invoice increases into account).
Any ideas on strategy/tactics for a buyer like me looking for a package II with few options?
