Have you tried Chili Chocolate? Comes in blocks, yum! Standard fare in Australia and the UK. You will find white vinegar on every fish and chip shop counter. Oh yeah! Here this is called a spider. Coke and vanilla icecream = black widow Fanta and vanilla icecream = tarantula sprite and vanilla icecream = white tail Raspberry and vanilla icecream = redback not sure mine are that unusual Peanut butter and honey sandwich Peanut butter and mature cheddar cheese sandwich Mature cheese and strawberry jam sandwich Steamed cabbage with butter and fresh ground pepper meat pie and pea soup, called a pie floater. Add tomato and Worcestershire sauce, yum!! Vegemite and cheese
Funny you should mention vegemite and cheese. I tried the new product today, they they are still trying to name. I beleive it is a combination of vegemite and cream cheese sold in a jar. I must admit i thought it was very nice on cracker biscuits.
Three and a half years ago I would have said a cigarette and coffee or a cigarette and beer/liquor. Now, I can't stand the smell of smoke. This sounds VERY GROSS but my wife loves a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. My kids and I haven't had the need to try that one yet.
Jay...........geez, thanks for the memory!! I love peanut butter sandwiches with dill pickles!!!.......
french fries do have a lot of regional flavors. in the West, its chili and cheese. (ya, great health option) but this is "unusual" food combos so did not mention it. around here Fries with just ketchup are labeled "diet fries"
Here is a weird one. RAW Chef Boyardee pizza dough. Just mix the dough with warm water like the instructions say, let it set for 20 min, eat and enjoy.
Like Pat, don't think that it is all unusual, but love peanut butter and honey on toast. My wife hates it, but loves peanut butter and strawberry jam. The other one I love is vanilla ice cream with chilli powder.
Ive got to try the chili on sweet things. I do love mango salsa on salmon. Chopped Mango ,cilantro, onion, Jalapenos
jalapeño juice used to pickle eggs ... consumed with beer habenero tobasco sauce on sausage & pepperoni pizza (with beer) ranch dressing on fries ranch dressing on deep fried onion rings ranch dressing on jalapeño poppers ranch dressing on chicken nuggets ranch dressing on deep fried zucchini vanilla ice cream on warm apple cobbler brie cheese with 2buck chuck Shiraz yum yummmm ! .
I once experimented with french fries and sampled a whole bunch of toppings (well, whatever I had on hand in the fridge). I found barbecue sauce was the best, and mayonnaise was the worst. Mayo was even worse than I imagined it would be. Even homemade mayo couldn't save it. My Dutch friends love it, though. Ketchup (unsweetened!) on eggs. Vanilla ice cream with peanut butter. A local restaurant offers a pear and gorgonzola pizza. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to eventually. Everything is better with mustard.
Soooo... you've been to Tijuana too Huh Bra... And yes... ranch does make lots of stuff edible... the grandkids call it "cold white gravy"... one of em was heard to say..."Papa, we like having gravy with dinner, cause if you have the right gravy, and put it on even stuff you hate, everything will go down easy"... even a 7yr old twin gets it.
condensed soup on crackers. veg beef or split pea with ham and bacon. Don't knock it till you try it!
