Dealer called me around noon. My car is finally at the dealership. I'm taking a PTO day tomorrow from work and will go get it in the morning and then take the rest of the day to explore and enjoy it! Prius IV, Solar, iPhone/USB, Dark Grey...Barcellona Red. I'm so ready for it.
BlueMonday, is yours also the Dark Grey leather interior? I suspect any pic I take will look a lot like yours!
Well, they are all the same I guess but it is always fun to see other people's pics. There's a whole thread stickied up above. I have a II with fabric interior in gumbo or bisque or whatever they are calling their beige.

YAY!! I'm getting the exact same package! I've been told it will arrive around next Friday. So you'll have yours on the West Coast and then I'll get mine on the East Coast. :rockon:
They are all slightly different. Just go looking for your invisable birthmarks etc and you will see. Congrats! Red was my first choice at first.. then it changed to blue, then back to red for a while... then blue.... I ended up with blue but would have liked red too!!

I asked the sales manager if my nav sys would have 9.1 on it...he said he didn't know there was even an update.... This place, apparently, knows more than sales managers do.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You're gonna love it. I pick mine up Sat morning and then right off to get the windows tinted. I got the Blizzard with Dark Gray, but the red is nice, too. :rockon:
Priori, I should be receiving mine next week as well but in Blizzard Pearl. Hopefully our new babies will come in before scheduled. It's harder waiting these last few days now.
I'm curious if it's gonna have Safety Connect ? Toyota's answer to OnSTAR . August is when they were supposed to start installing Safety Connect in the 2010's .
Yes, it has Safety Connect and as part of that system the iPhone/USB connections. I was told that to get the iPhone you had to have the Safety Connect. As an aside, those in the SF bay area awaiting a Prius with the iPhone option, there was a memo issued to dealers from Toyota explaining that due to the lack of experienced port installers that they had a week or more delay in getting the iPhone connections installed. Toyota ports were training new installers and working the existing ones with OT to get as many out as possible, but it caused a backlog...hence why mine was delayed a week or more.
Yup, I've been bitten by that as well. In theory mine (Red V with Dark Gray) has left the port and should be at the dealership in the next couple of days. So with any luck I'll be picking it up Saturday morning. And yeah, the NY Nav package includes both Safety Connect and the USB port. The older NV Nav package doesn't, but my understanding is that they aren't doing that package anymore.
Just spoke to my dealer and they hope to receive the car today or tomorrow. It's exciting to think that after all this time, I will probably have my car by the weekend.
