    I like that keychain with the light green Prius. They have some of those keychains on Ebay. You would think it's only a matter of time the 2010 models will be showing up on Ebay

    Any chance of my ordering from a fellow forum member in Japan who would kindly ship them over to Vancouver? Ken? Will pay for all costs/incidentals, of course.

    That model in Blizzard Pearl is an exact copy of my Prius! :)

    If you manage to link up with a supplier for these, in all colors, this would make a great addition to PriusChat Shop.

    You'd need to get a bigger wallet to hold all that extra cash....cha-ching.:whoo:

    I just found a black one on "our" ebay site. It's listing for $119 + $15 for shipping from Hong Kong and if it were blue; I'd buy it in a heartbeat and would consider even buying the black one. It's just like the ones Ken posted on the japan yahoo site. Look it up under diecast autos. Here's the ebay auction number: 380152181496

    Hey, Danny. You've got several orders already. Any idea when you might have inventory? ;)

    Several different models of the earlier generation are still around, and have also proved popular. You could stock those, too. It's been quite some time since these were offered by members, so hopefully you won't ruffle any feathers.

    I contacted a trusted ebayer from Hong Kong and he bid on and just purchased a blue prius for me on the Japan yahoo auctions. I found it from Ken's post and this ebayer was selling a black one on the us ebay. I'll let you know how all this goes after I receive it. I'm guessing at least one month since the ebayer in HK will have to ship it on to me. I just signed up for one of those services that will bid on the yahoo auctions for you and then ship it to you....I'd love to bid on one of the keychains.

    Big thanks to Ken for pointing these out. If anyone wants the id of the ebayer in HK; let me know.

    Hope it's 1/18 scale since that is what I am collecting. :)

    I think there are at least 3 sizes. I just won the 1/24 one but most are offereing the 1/30. I've also seen a few of the keychains in Japan that are clearly 2010 models with the sunroof.

    HK ebayer is sending me the blue model for around $140 shipping included. I did find out today that Tomy Tomica just released a version of the 2010 diecast prius with the sunroof and solar panels. If anyone is successful in finding this, please respond on this discussion. There is also a commercial little 2010 keychain car with LED headlights that do light up. As far as I can tell, this is available in Japan only but it is commercially sold. Ken; is there anyway you could find a source for us to purchase these cars from a Japan store on-line that might ship to the US? I've really tried, but so far can only find them on the Japan yahoo auctions. One more question to anyone who has experience: has anyone tried a secondary site that will bid on the Japan yahoo auctions for you and ship to the US for a fee? Thanks to all.

    ebay has them in 2010 now.
    Do a search for prius 2010 in TOYS section.
    But they are $99 - too rich for my blood. :p
    I'll wait until they get cheap - like $25.

    Even $25 is too rich for me.

    I'm waiting for the mass-market ones that cost about $6 for a 1/34 scale model or about $3 for a 1/60 scale model.

    ... and in addition, $25 for shipping - for a total of $124. That's way too much for my budget. However, in a year or so they should drop down to $25 or less, and will probably be available here in the USA. So I'll wait.
