Bridgstone Ecopia Ep20s on my Blue Ribbon Metallic III. Bought it in High Point NC, I live about 75 miles east of there.
On my Prius V Nav - Bridgestone Turanza EL400, thinking of upgrading to the Potenza RE960as Pole Position and then maybe some winter tires.
I too have Bridgestone Ecopia EP20. Fairfax County, VA, bought 8/25/09. I am very curious to know how high you've inflated them. I have Michelin Harmony on my Gen II, and I've kept it at 42-40. I just checked, and the Bridgestones look like they're inflated to 37-35. How high can I go on these?
Hello all I'd like to know what it means to be driving a 2010 Prius with 16 inch vice 17 inch wheels. Can anyone tell me? Thanks RedRock Ashburn VA
Maybe I should clarify my question. Can anyone please tell me what benefit I would gain from buying the 17 inch option for the 2010 Prius? Is there a difference in handling? Or mileage? Or is it just appearance? Thanks RedRock Ashburn VA
You lose about 3mpg when using the 17" wheels. Looks are subjective.. I personally like them.. but not enough for 3mpg. Not sure about handling. I'm assuming the total outside circumference must be pretty close to the same, else the mph guage would be off.... I'm sure others have investigated this.. I haven't. Bigger wheels, but low profile tires... may equal same outside circumference. You can't get the package V at this time "which has the 17" wheels" and still get the sunroof... "only available in the Package IV".
I have 2 2010 Prius's a IV base and a V w/AT. the IV Base has (Built 05/09) 15" Yokohama Avid S33 the V w/AT has (Built 07/09) 17" Bridgestone Turanza EL400 02
