Ouch!! Three times. Obviously an exorcism is in order but we need to determine whether to perform it on the car or on you. Can you look straight behind you without turning your shoulders?

I'm thinking you need to get some bullseye decals so you can apply them liberally to the exterior of the car.

Glad the dealer wouldn't sell the demo blue one I test drove; had to get a silver one instead.

Nice to see you're okay, sorry your Prius is jinxed. Back in 1995 I was rear-ended twice in 11 days, with a $2200 repair paid by the other party's insurance in the middle of those 11 days. I traded the truck in a couple of months later before I rear-ended someone. I couldn't stop looking in the rearview mirror when driving that thing after that.

Blue Ribbon is still the best color!! Don't let these folks jinx you anymore (is that possible?) about how blue is a crash magnet. They are just jealous.

Seriously, I am sorry, and you have a house full of empathy here as I shared your story.

Blue Ribbon is a much more noticeable color than many other colors, such as grey or black -- or even silver. I don't understand why this is happening to you! I hope the third hit is a "charm" and that it will actually immunize you and your cars from ever being hit again!

Damn a priori, sorry to hear about this latest incident. I hope your (3rd) insurance company doesn't hit ya' harder than the van did and raise the heck out of your rates!

Wow. Next time a customer asks me if the blue color is a safe one, I'll tell them only if you are actually moving.

Sorry to hear about your car, Priori! On a serious note, I hope these accidents aren't reporting to carfax...

Look on the bright side. There will be a very low low chance of it happening again.

And I know who could perform an effective ritual to protect you and your car from these sorts of incidents :D

I am sorry to hear of this incident. Wow. What a strange karmic thing you've got going on here. Glad no one is hurt.

    *hugs*

What an unfortunate string of events! Hope your are healed financially and automotively.

However, since these were independent events (unless someone is out to get you), elementary probability says that your chances of this happening again are exactly the same as before any of these events happened.

    Let's be careful out there!

    Thanks, everyone!

I don't know whether this will cause any increase in my insurance rates. I haven't had to report the last two, only the first one. That was a confirmed hit-and-run (by local police), while the second and third ones were determined to be 100% fault on the part of the other party.

Exorcism? Somehow I think the demons are inhabiting the other drivers, but, then again, I suppose anyone in need of an exorcism is going to be denying the need!!

Man, do you shower regularly and use underarm spray? :p Judging from your pictures you have at least $1404 dollars worth of repairs; very similar to somewhat worse than my "Mattresses and Priuses . . . Oh my!" saga; visit this thread and the latter posts. It took my T collision repair facility 35 days to obtain the parts and get the vehicle back into my hands.

I think that there is a good case for driving with the 2010 Prius' lights on 100% of the time. JUST TURN ON YOUR LIGHTS AND LEAVE THEM ALONE; they will turn themselves off within 20 - 30 seconds of exiting the car. :clap2:

:eek:lol!!! You DO know that the past two incidents happened when my car wasn't in motion?! This recent one was at 10:45am and I was stopped in a parking lot. The one before that happened when my car was parked on the street in front of our house.

I wonder if I should get a proximity/motion sensor to set off lights and a siren if a car should get close!!

I read an articale long time ago, sorry I forgot where I read it, but it mention something interest about blue and red color.
A Red color vehicle will make people feel it much larger in size than it actually is at a distance. The Samurai wearing red armor can have a demoral effect on the enemy.
On the contrast , blue color will make it feel much smaller than it actually is. a ribbon blue prius may have a illusion to other driver it is smaller in size or further away from where it should be.
Just my 2 cents, sorry if my english is not good

I am so sorry to hear about your endless problems! On the bright side, I may assure you that your color is not haunted; *all* my cars were blue, and I never had a single accident... So it should not be *that* after all... ;)

Man, you must have a neighbor breeding black cats sending them across the road whenever you pass by !

Hey, perhaps instead of exorcism, you might have your car blessed ;). When I was in India, people often brought their motors to a nearby temple and had the priest bless them .
