Backup beep question

    Is the beep setting

    beep... beep... beep.......................

    or BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP?

    Dealer, said "the single beep was continous"

    or, after it's been somewhat squelched: a single short beep...

    You can have the dealer change it to a single beep.

    If you have the dealer change it to a single beep, it is NOT one continuous beep. It is one short beep as you put it in reverse. The dealer is wrong. I highly recommend getting it changed to one short beep (and don't let the dealer tell you there is a charge for it, there's not!).

    Thanks, The dealers trying to pull a fast one:mad:. I will make sure it gets changed. I will remind him of the survey or suggest there is something wrong with the car and needs to be fixed before I take it home. This was the only option that I requested to have changed.


    Picking the Car up tonight. :)

    Does the door need to be closed for a single beep to work?

    If the door is opened and the cars put in "R" will the Beep be continous?

    The door was open when the tech tried changing the setting for the "single beep"

    Problem solved
