Worth a try. Looking for to trade my new 2010 Prius 15" wheels for 17" wheels. I live in the Bay Area and would love to make an exchange in the area.

    Any takers? Please PM me!

LOL, worth a try. However anyone wanting to go to the 15" can do it cheaply on eBay and keep their 17" for when they trade. Trading in or selling a V w/o the 17" is going to be an issue unless the dealer just doesn't know any better.

Considering it appears to be about a $1700 difference in the two, an even swap would tend to be seriously tilted in your favor

Are there any aftermarket wheels that look like the 17" factory ones?

Tire rack has 6 pages of 17" wheels for the 2010 Prius ranging in price from $59 to $345 each. None look exactly like the OEM 17" wheels but some of them are close and some may look better.

IMO, aftermarket rims never look as good as the premium factory wheels (i.e. 17" wheels on the Prius, 18" wheels on the RX350, etc.). Usually because car manufacturers take their time and effort to select the best style rims for each particular model.

In 30 plus years of owing dozens of cars and owing both factory supplied upgraded wheels and aftermarket wheels, I could not disagree more. :D

While I like a 5 spoke wheel and love the 17" on the Prius, I'll have to say a lot of the alloy wheels I've seen on OEM's suck. I've seen really nice ones but many I wonder what went through the designers head. OEM can't please everyone since it's a matter of taste. I like a wheel that not only looks good but is easy to clean. many have nooks and creases that are hard to get to. The 17's on the Prius are excellent all around for my taste.
