You're right. It's 9.5%! \(^^)/ So I saved $2,712 in WA Sales Tax Total Saved: $6,552 (instead of the 6,290) Thanks Fuzzy
The Prius III I bought, with some accessories, had a msrp of 24030. I paid 23077 for it, a net savings of 953 off mrsp.
can you give me the name of the dealer? great deal by the way! I'm in the bay shopping for a prius myself now
What dealer did you purchase your Prius from? Marysville here, looking for the same pkg as yours. thanks DG
Re: Purchase Price no to Walnut Creek I had an absolutely horrible experience at Walnut Creek toyota. A week ago Friday I went in and puta deposit on a red Prius 3. I wanted to do cash for clunkers and they said it would be another day or two for the program to get running. After calling every day and them saying tomorrow, tomorrow and yes they were doing C4C, last Friday when it looked like the last day for C4C they said "oh we aren't doing CRC" That's it! no call, no apology just a big ..... Even though these guys are just down the street from where I work the only dealing I will ever have with them is to demand my deposit check back. Luckily the program survived and I should be picking up my new red Prius today!
Just Bought the Prius III with Solar Roof, MSRP $27,920, $1000 off, paid $26,920. They also took my trade-in for $7,500, was a 07' Prius Package II with 117,600 miles on it. All in all was a great experience, bought it through Mossy Toyota in San Diego, look for Lea Ginn.
Prius IV (no nav or sr) MSRP 26817. I paid 26200, plus got 14700 for my trade 2006 Prius with 45k mi.
Not really. The fact that I had purchased another Prius for my daugher last year from him probably helped. I asked for 800 off MSP and he agreed. When the car came in it had some accessories that I did not ask for. He gave me 280 dollars worth of these accessories for 127 dollars (probably his cost).
Thanks, I think I did get a good deal. Got it from Novato Toyota. Ask for Ken Zaris (Tele 415 897-3191). He is really a very nice guy. He works Fridays thru Tuesdays. Tell him that Jesse Bedi recommended him. I picked up my car on July 24.
I have a question for those who purchased in Connecticut. Did the dealer add a dealer fee of about $398. Had one all picked out for MSRP in NY but had to go to Ct. to get acceptable color. Dealer there claims ALL Ct. dealers add an almost $400 dealer fee on top of the msrp. NY dealer only added $45 to regester car. Ct. dealer does not even have to do that since I need to register it myself in NY. I don't have much choice since I need to get in on the CFC program and they have a color I prefer. I just want to know if he is giving me a line so I can comment on it when I pick up my car this week.
Hi Jesse, What kind of accessories did you get? Does your price of $23077 include destination fees, floor mats etc? What fees did you have to pay?
Would you be able to tell me what dealer you worked with ? I am trying to find a dealer in the Phoenix area. Thank you.
$1,000 off MSRP for a IV w/Nav, same day it arrived on lot, last week of July, DARCARS Frederick, MD.
I went to the dealer yesterday to browse around. He told me they charge a $350 dealers fee and nothing off MSRP. Right now, this is the first time I've seen 2010's sitting on the lot for more than 2 or 3 days. They got a 14 car allocation in 2 days ago according to their web site
We got ours for MSRP. We also looked at Insights at the same time, and our local Honda dealer was adding $3000 additional markup on those. When the Honda guy called me the day after our test drive I told him we had decided on the Prius, and also told him that even if we'd decided on the Insight I wouldn't have bought it from them because I will never, ever buy from a dealer that tacks on a markup over MSRP, no matter what final price I might be able to get from them.
They are the ones I've been dealing with since April and won't give me a cent off MSRP! Who did you work with? See my thread: Any deal in the Washington, DC area?
