Official 2010 Prius Owners Pics

We bought our second 2010 Prius last night so my red one has company with the new silver one which is Prius_Family's new car. We are a two Prius Family. lol

 

Too cool! The silver looks almost white, so you should get a blue one too to round it out!

 

I brought "Graylord" yesterday. Beautiful Winter Grey with solar roof. Misty Grey interior. The weather has been very iffy so it's been hard to catch good pictures but I think you can see the way the color ranges from grey to blue to purple to almost black, depending on the lighting and angle. The first picture shows him with my 2006 silver.

I am pretty much tapped out of money for any more new Prius's, lol.
With the cash for clunkers, it was worth retiring my old Explorer and at the same time trading in my wife's 08 Honda Hybrid with 15k miles and upgrading her to a new 2010 Prius too.

I have done my part this year in stimulating the economy, reducing our families carbon foot print and reducing the countries need for foreign oil, helping to save the world from impending doom of global warming, all the while bringing the family into the 21st century with these techy voice command cars that bluetooth into I-Phones, link to satellites for traffic, news and entertainment. I feel like George Jetson. I just need to build a flux capacitor to take the Prius into the Future to get a flying car upgrade.

Maybe I can talk one of the nieghbors into a blue one for the photo op. :rockon:

I am getting my Winter Gray IV w/ sunroof Monday I hope, but I got it with dark gray interior.

How can they call that "misty gray"?
It looks almost white to me. I wouldn't call that "gray" of any kind.

 

Yes, it is very light -- but mist is kind of white! I really like the contrast with the dark exterior.

It might be light, but place a sheet of paper next to it and it's definitely gray. I had a white 1990 Mustang GT 5.0 convertible with (you read it right) white leather interior with gray accents. Now that was white.

 

I think I may change my preference to dark gray. It almost looks beige.

 

Have you viewed both colors? The monotone look of Dark Gray bothers me. The two-tone combination of Misty Gray provides for a more sporty look.

 

I like the looks of misty gray better, but I know I'll be better off with dark gray in the long run (5+ years from now). I guess you could say I'm too lazy to keep a light interior looking good.

 

No, it's not beige at all. It is a very light grey. I really like it because I think a light interior is much nicer with a dark exterior. Ther's also the the two-tone door, etc. and the dark floor mats.

I really don't think you should change it. But, of course that's my personal preference.
